Routing and Switching: Day 1

This is my first day in the Routing and Switching class. We were introduced to the professor and to the other students and we shared our backgrounds. A few of the students were already in the networking field and were sent to the class to learn more in order to do their job better. We then looked over the syllabus and learned what we would be doing for the rest of the semester. There are 3 rows of desks in the room and each row has it's own set of routers, switches and hubs connected to the computers. These are what we will be working with throughout the semester. The room has not yet been connected to the rest of the network, so that was all we were able to do tonight. I look forward to this class.
